Hey it's another rant journal!

Ah, here's something that really annoys me;
Guys who complain about fangirls pairing up guys and making them gay and how such fangirls are retarded and how yaoi is gross only to follow up with "yuri ftw."

And

Girls who are very big yaoi fangirls but think that guys who like yuri are gross sexist perverts.

IT IS THE SAME FUCKING THING YOU FUCKING HYPOCRITES. YOU'RE PAIRING TWO CHARACTERS DESPITE CANON INTO A HOMOSEXUAL COUPLE FOR YOUR SEMI-PORN COMIC/FANFIC/FANART AND/OR IMAGINATION FOR NO OTHER REASON BESIDES FROM "its hawt lol!111" NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU'VE CONVINCED YOURSELF IT'S "omg deep and kawaiii!111."
IT'S NOT, GTFOVER IT!
And a guy thinking that two homosexuals from the opposite sex having a relationship being an attractive concept is NO DIFFERENT than a girl thinking two homosexuals from the opposite sex having a relationship being an attractive concept.

I have absolutely no problems against yaoi/yuri fans until
a) They think it's canon or going to become canon with bogus "evidence."
b) Yaoi fangirls criticize yuri or Yuri fanboys criticize yaoi.

BUT WHEN THEY DO IT, IT SEVERELY PISSES ME OFF.

And I see it a lot here in smashboards. -_-

P.S. I tried to read both yaoi and yuri. Yuri sucked because it basically was random "lol let's make out now even though I've explicitly shown interest in a guy" and Yaoi sucked because it was "lol I have sex with you every other chapter, but when I'm not I'm angsting over my lack of confidence in my sexuality!!!1"

...And here's another one complaining about how women suck at competitive games;

i have this theory because until i skimmed this thread i had never seen an instance where a girl was the best in any competitive video game. i know girls that rape in other games, i know girls that did everything that i did in FFX in half the time. and i know a girl that throws combos together in devil may cry like nobody's business. but when it comes to games where you are playing right next to somebody and the objective is to kill or otherwise defeat them, i feel that there is something genetic in humans that make the male species SLIGHTLY more adept with split second thinking and decisions and therefore better at those types of games.

This post supremely pisses me off. What is this, the 1970s?!
Women are less likely to become the best in a competitive video game because women are much less likely to even show up at a tournament to begin with, not because of anything else.
For example;
Say there are 20 people in a tournament of equal skill in which there are 10 girls. The chances of a girl winning the tournament are 10/20 or 1/2. Therefore that would be balanced. However, let's take a scenario where there are 20 people in a tournament of equal skill in which there is only one girl - the chances of a girl then winning are reduced to 1/20. The second scenario is more representative of the general competitive smash population (if it's not closer to 1/50 or 1/100). Hence it looks like women are worse at smash and competitive gaming but the fact of the matter is is that they have to be VERY GOOD (we're talking about winning tournaments constantly) to stand out and say "hey, girls can play too!" And if they lose once everyone goes "Well, it's cause she's a girl, and girls can't be as good as guys." (Let's ignore the fact that she had beaten 30 guys prior to her first loss)

It's unfair, and reminds me of sexism 40 years ago when it came to jobs. Same thing happened; make one mistake and "Oh, women can't do *insert masculine job here.*"

If SephirothKen lost to a girl, no one would say "Oh, it's cause he's a guy" or "Guys can't be that good at Smash compared to girls," would we?

Something that always pisses me off is how guys complain that girls always go for the douchebags or have no feelings, etc.

Well excuuuuuse me, princess...!
While you guys are chasing cheap perfume. Yeah, you heard that right. Guys always love to go for the sluts and the big boobs while all the nice good girls seem to be just acquaintances because of that crap. The girls worth chasing do not go for the jackasses because they're smart enough to know better.
Oh yeah, buurn. Stop chasing the bimbos and you'll do fine. Unfortunately society seems to say that the stupider the woman is, (and of course the easier to control) the more attractive.
So when guys finally realize that they were chasing cheap perfume and that it was a scam/not worth it/sought out it's own kind they all start using getting dumped as an excuse to be a misogynistic pieces of shit and bawling

It is kind of funny though. Good girls like good guys, good guys like bad girls, bad girls like bad guys, and bad guys eventually marry good girls because by that point no one else can stand them (my parents, for ex).

Kay guys, something very interesting happened today; back when I was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome, it took me a while to accept what was true (back then I thought of autism as mental retardation), but when I finally got around to reading about it I found out that one of the symptoms that "aspies" tend to feel uncomfortable in their own skin. As an otherkin, that concept struck me as very familiar, but I paid no attention to it.
Today, my biology teacher and I were talking about languages and how they varied. I ended up bringing up the Basque language and how it was completely unrelated to any language with origins so mysterious that some people actually thought they were aliens. It wasn't just the language either, but the whole gene pool. A Basque woman with Rh- blood can have the same complications with having an Rh+ child that horses often have while giving birth to mules. It's as if they were different species entirely!
Think it gets good here? Guess again, there was also correlation with autism. And it only gets better, here's a few things correlated with those of Rh-;

* An EXTRA-Vertebra (a "Tail Bone")....some are born with a tail(called a "Cauda").
* Lower than normal Body Temperature
* Lower than normal Blood Pressure
* Higher mental analytical abilities.
* Higher Negative-ion shielding (from positive "charged" virus/bacteria)around the body.
* High Sensitivity to EM and ELF Fields.
* Hyper Vision and other senses.
* Etc. (TS-MAJIC-NSC)

If you have Asperger's or are autistic, these should already seem very familiar. It also reeks of 'kinness.

Also, I found it interesting that the Basques were far-advanced in navigational skills and other aspects of technology long before the rise of the Roman Empire. The Basques...are the last remnants of the megalith builders, who left behind dolmens, standing stones, and other rock structures all across Europe and perhaps even in eastern North America.

And if you're a dragonkin such as myself, there may have even been a sort of connection to dragons?*

There was this article on TIME magazine I recently read claiming that they have just discovered that repetitive commercials are more successful than variating ones because if people learn the brand name they later assume that the brand name is popular and popular = good.
All I can say is;
Noooooo. You mean it wasn't obvious?!
Seriously, I think that anyone can convince themselves of being geniuses if they so much bother to read something in the media.

Anyway, if anyone has read the latest chapter there was some detail revealed about Naruto's parents, and people are already building theories...

Really, I love theories. They rock, they always make a series more interesting and more anticipating as long as it's not dead obvious, something that Kishimoto has to be more careful to avoid (because seriously, Tobi is so not Obito), and if it is true that Pein is related to Naruto, making him from a different country is a very smart move. I find the similarity between Naruto and Pein quite noticeable, but at the same time I'm a bit more skeptic because Pein is from Rain, not Konoha. If he were from Konoha it'd be a different story.
Unfortunately, some theories have to be ridiculously retarded like that Yondaime is the Akatsuki Leader! or, my personal least favorite The Akatsuki actually have good intentions!, and since, thankfully, the last two theories are dead (unfortunately though, I did come across some fantards that still think that recently), a new retard theory has come up;
Pein is related to Naruto through his mom's side!
And you know, it'd be an okay theory, a totally crack theory, but a possible theory nonetheless if it weren't for the fucktarded reasons why people support it:

1.) Kushina was from the Whirlpool village.
You know guys, I know that it's easy to confuse two water based villages in which we know nothing about, but that doesn't change the fact that they're NOT the same village. Whirlpool village has nothing to do with the Rain village because they're two different villages. Saying that it's possible that Kushina is related to Pein because they're both water based villages is like saying it's possible that I'm related to Pablo Neruda because we're both from Spanish speaking countries. It makes no sense.

2.)Pein can be related to Kushina because he looks like Naruto.
... In that case, poor Naruto is inbred.
First of all, let's clear up the obvious because apparently it's not obvious enough; Naruto looks like his father, he gets his looks from Minato, entirely. Unless Minato and Kushina were related somehow (and I'm sorry, but I personally have strong feelings against marriage into family), it makes no sense. Just read that point again; Pein is related to Kushina because he looks like her husband. Uh, what? If Pein is related to Naruto in any way it's through Minato, not Kushina, because that's who he looks like, and that's where Naruto gets his spikey hair, from Minato.

If anyone is related to Naruto through Kushina it's Karin; they both had red hair, and unlike Pein, Karin's original village hasn't been revealed yet.

That's just a blatant insult to Kishimoto. He drew a SasuxSai scene (yes, we all know it was a genjutsu, but he still FUCKING DREW IT). Not a SasuSaku scene. Not a SasuNaru scene. Not a NaruSaku scene. A FUCKING YAOI SASUSAI SCENE, and guess what? It could only so easily serve as proof that Sakura no longer is romantically interested in Sasuke. So please, if drawing sasusaku wasn't enough insult to the whole first part of the manga, editting a scene to make it seem LIKE FUCKING SASUSAKU WHEN IT WAS A FUCKING OTHER PAIRING IS THE FUCKING WORST THING YOU CAN DO!

In case you're wondering about when the hell my manifesto will get done, here's the thing; for starters I'm currently obsessing over another pairing and for the second I'm waiting for Gaara to come back to the manga and knowing Kishimoto's storyline pattern it shouldn't be too far off.

When Gaara does come back

And Gaara WILL come back because his character isn't finished yet; he still has to prove himself a worthy Kazekage which up until now he more or less has failed to do -stinkbombs Kishimoto's house-

there WILL be gaasaku hinting if it doesn't become canon already, and then I'll get my inspiration back and I'll write the manifesto. ~~This isn't an excuse covering up for my laziness and ADHD!~~

Anyway, summer is coming up too, providing a decent amount of boredom and time to do it.

Apparently the in denial hardcore Christians are being fucktards again and are taking their stupid denial so far they're making an alternate history museum, where they say bullshit like dinosaurs and people lived at the same time, their main arguement being because the bible says so.
These people should be thrown in jail for scientific fraud.
Seriously, sometimes I wish I could get into politics so I can get people like this locked up under religious extremism and general terrorism of the scientific community. The whole crap thing is that they're too arrogant to believe they are related to monkeys and not some kind of stupid image of god on earth. They say they're "evangelists" but they don't know crap about their own bible, because they forget that the old testament also says to kill everybody that doesn't believe in the same thing they do, and also to kill anybody that works on Saturday. They also don't have a clue that the number seven in ancient hebrew culture was symbolic for "infinity", which means the world is still being shaped, aka: evolution is even supported by the bible!

This especially sucks for me because I want to study paleontology. As soon as I finish High School and get a doctorate in University I will do whatever I can to wipe out this idiocy.

Woot, this is old news, but I felt as I'm normally seen as the "ranter" I might as well put it up before this next chapter comes out.

So Shonen Jump released an interview with Kishimoto, where they asked him an attention-grabbing question:

Excellent, this makes the anime, the databook, the novellized version of the manga and Shonen Jump all supporting Naruhina and now its a bit harder to say that all those outside the manga sources are all "shit", as many narusaku fans argue (quite delusionally I may add).
Adding to the subject, it seems that yes, the narusaku fans are being delusional again and claiming that Kishimoto meant NaruSaku not NaruHina.
... Right. Gawd, they're getting as bad as the Harry/Hermione shippers in the Harry Potter fandom and I have to wonder if they'll be trying to rewrite the manga and/or burning it once their beloved pairing goes out the window.

It only gets better; by telling me that "at least one case will be requited" and how Kishimoto hopes its naruhina, I'm getting the hint its the only pairing that will happen. Its great, as its the only pairing out of those I support.

Its no surprise either that after this interview team eight is back in the manga. I'm sure hoping to get some more evidence for naruhina from this upcoming ark, and a chance to rebuff the ridiculous "little interaction" antinaruhina arguement completely. I'm quite excited.

Whenever I mention my antisasusaku views I get called a Sakura hater by sasusakuers.
Ironically, whenever I also mention my antinarusaku views I also get called a Sakura hater by the narusakuers.

In the end, its actually because I'm a big Sakura fan I don't want her to be paired up with the closest male humanoids ~~in the unconscious desire for NARUTO to become a shojo manga which is what both of sasusakuers and narusakuers want to happen.~~

SasuSaku: Sakura is a immature moron/bimbo in a destructive relationship leading her to be nothing but a baby making machine inside the Uchiha clan walls and consequently not obtaining her goal of becoming the strong kunoichi she's always wanted to be.

NaruSaku: Sakura is a shallow and selfish bitch who (consciously or not) gets in a romantic relationship with Naruto as a consolation prize as the closest male humanoid for not being able to get it on with Sasuke and as he left and chases after Naruto even if she knows Hinata is in love with him and has been so for years.

Now, I personally believe that Sasuke will stay single.
Why? Because once converted to the good side, he should be able to realize how cursed the sharingan bloodline is (as stated by kyuubi; more cursed than he is) and end it with himself and not have any kids, etc.

Why do I mention this? Because Sasuke reviving the Uchiha clan is often an arguement for SasuSaku;

A SasuSaku debater on who would end with Sasuke:
"Sasuke want another bloodline. So it could mix? Like there is another Uchiha? No, he would want someone strong, physically, and someone that can take care of him, someone he can trust, someone that really wants to know about him. Okay, a bunch of people have managed to outright piss me off by just clumping NaruHina and SasuSaku together and they're both NaruSaku and SasuSaku fans. >_>

Guess what, narusakutards? I agree with you on hating SasuSaku; it is a theme that made Sakura weak, that annoyed Sasuke and that depressed Naruto. Sakura's crush on Sasuke is the representation of Naruto's lack of acknowledgment and Sakura's immaturity and weakness throughout Part one. The pairing, quite simply, sucks, and it is the last pairing Kishimoto will make canon in the manga. No questions asked.

However, NaruHina isn't the same.

Hinata does not have feelings for Naruto; it is only admiration!

Guess again. The databook's word is canon law.

Anti-NaruHina arguement two: Hinata only has a crush on Naruto!

If Hinata merely had a crush on Naruto, it wouldn't have stuck around for two and a half years. If Kishimoto wouldn't have wanted to do something with those feelings, he would have made them disappear. After all, he himself said he's not confident when it comes to writing romance.

Kiba supports NaruHina, he knows Hinata's feelings for Naruto:
Chapter 282, Kiba screams out loud: "Why do you always faint when you see Naruto?!" in Naruto's presence. Fact is; Kiba already knows why, and he also knows that in total Hinata has only fainted because of Naruto once. Fillers don't count in this area. So then why would Kiba say that? The only logical explanation I see is that he wants bonehead Naruto to realize it.

Oh, and by the way, speaking of Kiba supporting NaruHina, have you noticed that Kiba and Shino are the only two of the original genin with no set goals whatsoever? Everybody else, even Tenten, has goals. Kiba and Shino don't support Hinata's feelings for Naruto, they completely revolve around them. It would explain why Shino wasn't included in the Failed Sasuke Retrieval Ark. Throwing Hinata's feelings out the window would consequently mean throwing Team Kurenai out the window as well.

That's not all, Sakura also has a clue on what is going on;

Just because Hinata may be the main character's love interest doesn't mean that's all there is to her character. You're the one assuming it so.

Anti-NaruHina arguement seven: -insert nonsense here about Naruto making Hinata weak and how its like SasuIno/SasuSaku that way-
As someone who hates SasuSaku, argues against it that way and loves NaruHina I'm profoundly insulted. Not only are you insulting me, you're also insulting Naruto as the main character; Naruto's role as a main character is to influence people and make them strong. Hinata is no exception. Saying Naruto makes someone weak, especially when it comes to Hinata, is the most outrageous and laughable thing I have ever heard in the fandom.

Fact is, Naruto makes Hinata strong just like he influences every other character in the manga from Zabuza to Gaara to Tsunade, its his role as a main character. I know I'm repeating myself, but if you're so moronic to think that Naruto makes someone weak then dear, you need to be spoonfed.

And guess what?

Hinata's actually one of the very few characters that returns that and makes Naruto stronger. Previously, that was only seen in Iruka.

Naruto makes Hinata stronger, that was predictable. Hinata making Naruto stronger, however, was unexpected.

That is true and not true:
Hinata's past is gravely underestimated; She had no loved ones until probably Team Eight, her mother is more likely than not dead, Neji as a branch member used her as an arguement for him to take over the Main Branch and constantly used her as the symbol of how unfair the situation was as she had the advantage even if she was weaker and the Main Branch knew this and therefore hated her for that, her father technically abandoning her. Hinata's past deserves to be up there with Naruto's, Sasuke's and Gaara's and as someone who can relate to the jinchuuriki I can assure you of that with first hand experience myself.

However, if you want to specifically pull out the jinchuuriki card you may as well say Naruto will not end up with anybody unless you're argueing GaaNaru.

Anti-NaruHina arguement nine: This is a shonen manga! The guys are supposed to get what they want and girls really don't matter!
Interesting that you mention this; its an oxymoron.
1.) Yes, Naruto is supposed to get what he wants, but its not specifically Sakura: Naruto wants love and to be loved, to be acknowledged. It doesn't matter on who's account. Really, it'd be better off for Naruto not to get something that he wanted at the beginning of the manga because, hey, the main character needs some character development too. And guess what? A lot of that was because of Hinata.*

2.) Yes, this is a shonen manga, but this manga a specific target is achieving GOALS.

Let's put up that pic from the beginning again, shall we? :)

Hinata's goal is to confess to Naruto and get acknowledgment from him.
First part is sort of done.
Second part isn't, as she wasn't there at the end of the Neji/Naruto battle. Kishimoto withdrew her from it with his misteriaz autha powaz. Not rly.
Really, achieving goals triumphs over sexism here.

3) Yes, this is a shonen manga, but that only points to NaruHina even further. Why? Because girls revolve around guys (not the other way around; see point one).
- Sakura's character development revolves around understanding what Naruto went through and getting away from her crush on Sasuke.
- Ino's character development depends on her not judging by appearances (especially on accounts of weight) and having feelings for a guy without the best appearance ever, which is more likely than not Chouji.
- Hinata's main goal is to confess to Naruto and win him over and that's when we can say that she's gotten over that terrible shyness she had in part one and has become more like Naruto. This last bit also goes against the saying that NaruHina wouldn't work out because Hinata is "too shy". Which brings me to my final point...

People fail to see Hinata's character here; yes, Hinata is shy. However, she's not that shy. Whenever she did get close to Naruto, she's the one that has striked up the conversation. Part of NaruHina is Hinata overcoming that shyness and that "fate" (Neji was to represent this in the chuunin exam) of never achieving goals and that was represented by Neji's "caged bird" comparison.

Calling me a "Hinata tard" is ridiculous. The only (alive) character I truly consider myself a fan of is Gaara. I'm no naruhina tard either and I'll admit that one of the reasons why I'd be so excited on NaruHina becoming canon would be to kick narusaku out the window which is a pairing I strongly hate. Hell, I rarely if ever even look in the NaruHina fanfiction section (I complain about sasusaku found there but I don't make an effort either) and I'll search for NaruHina fanart like once every three months.
Following the above, I'm not the type to see the girls, feel close to them, consequently think they should get what they want, read a fic or two and maybe a rant and support it all the way. Nor am I the type to do the same for guys, or go with what seems more canon at the moment** and ship it all the way. No, my poetic intuition picks things up and I analyze and gather evidence to support it and it has never failed me before. Reading for pleasure since you were very little comes in handy, ya know?

I seriously dislike GaaSasu, seriouslah. As someone that can relate to Gaara I can tell you that if he and Sasuke sat down and talked they'd walk away hating eachother's guts if they don't already.

Well after being slapped on the hand for disliking Sasuke for being so Gaara-ish and wanting to rant (you know the drill) on GaaSasu I'm going to explain why Gaara would dislike with GaaSaku consequences depending where you take the ending. ;)Sasuke, if he doesn't already without *gasp* bashing Sasuke.

- Fic is rated G and has shitloads of spoilers if you haven't read throughout all the manga, as for Gaara being a jinchuuriki again, this is a really smart part of the upcoming doujinshi I'll be writing so don't get too caught up on that part.

Ho-boy, I'm gonna rant again. Here I go...!

So, I'm just browsing fanfiction.net for GaaSaku fics because I have a craving. Too bad I can't read any of them. Why could you ask? Because they aren't GaaSaku, they're GaaSuesaku!

To all you "GaaSaku" fanfiction writers who make Sakura a goth/emo/suicidal/coldhearted bitch, I have something to say to you;

FUCK YOU!!!

I don't know how badly sexism is advertised in your country, but Sakura isn't weak to the point of being suicidal just because Sasuke decided to have a blonde moment and run away with Orochimaru to his ~~NAMBLA~~ emo farm. Sakura is not a fucking emo or depressed! She's working hard to bring her beloved teammate back, she has a goal set right in front of her and she's going for it! The Sakura I know and love, the Sakura I like to pair up with Gaara is a happy girl with spunk! If I want to pair Gaara up with someone with self esteem issues I can take a look into the GaaHina section. Too bad GaaHina makes the polar opposite to psychological sense to me and I'm a GaaSaku fan!

Now, part of the fun of GaaSaku is how Sakura is a normal girl and a believeable character to balance out Gaara's "I'm a demon posessed genius that became a psycopath at six and Kazekage at thirteen, beat that!" character*. There is no bloody fucking way Sakura's childhood could ever measure up to Gaara's and I like to keep it that way. Stop making Sakura a jinchuuriki, stop making her some sort of unimaginable genius with a bloodline, stop giving her some kind of nonexistant dearranged childhood to make her a coldhearted depressed bitch. Not only are you making Sakura into a mary-sue and a completely different character, you're also cheapening Gaara! Write a goddamn sue-fic already and leave my favorite pairing alone!

I don't like Sasuke. No, I don't for my own reasons, but that doesn't mean you can villify him into making him a jelous posessive asshole because that's out of character.

Sabaku no Gaara was unable to even think straight. Any attempts the Kazekage made of such reflected his title, the wind swept them away and only the first syllables of what could have been words were heard in his conscious, each one of them like a silent stutter.
The situation could have been considered outrageous from any perspective, especially from the annoying council whose political ideologies could be considered primitive.
It didn’t matter, nothing mattered. The girl was only there giving him a stare showing an emotion he wouldn’t have been unable to recognize. It wasn’t like her usual cheerful smile she would have on, it was softer, tenderer. Pity wouldn’t come to mind and neither would the lunacy his victims often had due to fear. How could something so soft have so much power over him? All she was doing was kneeling in front of him, staring at him in the eyes, living, breathing. The object of attention took one breath and his heart beat once, she took another and it beat twice, three times, four…
It hurt.
Not so much his heart pounding furiously at his chest, but his restraint. He wanted to grab on to her, hold her tightly against him and assure her that he will never let anyone hurt her, that he will avenge any ills taken to her in the past and that she will always be safest here, with him, in his arms and by his side. He wanted to assure himself that no one would ever take her away from him, that she was his and that if anyone with any malicious intent did so much as to look in her direction they might as well insult everything he stood for and be face to face with the fury of the Kazekage himself.
Gaara hated it, and for the first time in his life he felt useless.
Sakura’s expression changed as his gaze lowered, she looked slightly alarmed and concerned. She noticed, she knew what she had to do. In what seemed like days, the medic slowly wrapped her arms around the jinchuuriki. Gaara widened his eyes and violently did the same, making the embrace tighter.
The Kazekage fully awoke. Shukaku had retreated.

Okay, so, everybody knows my very important point that could prove GaaSaku in the manga?
Well, guess what?

Sasuke could be Dan, that way Sakura could save him and protect her younger brother (Naruto) at the same time!
SAVING SASUKE IS NARUTO'S FUCKING JOB, NOT SAKURA'S!

Sasuke is not Dan.
Why? Because Sasuke has no frickin intention of becoming Hokage, which was a key part to Dan's damn character. No, its ALL his character.

Sakura is not in the same situation as Tsunade, YET. But she will because its fucking foreshadowed. THE MANGA HASN'T ENDED YET! *gasp* and Kishimoto doesn't have confidence is his romance skills or even writing girls well to do it. He's probably going to leave it for the end. Oh, but let's just disregard the fact that its so obviously happening in Naruto and Sasuke, but its not with Sakura so let's just say it may not be exactly the same because it means no NaruSaku/SasuSaku and that Reyairia is overanalyzing the situation!!! Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura each have THEIR OWN GOALS, its just first they have to finish the Sannin legacy and THEN they can finish that.
1. Naruto becoming Hokage.
2. Sasuke killing his brother.
3. Sakura becoming a strong kunoichi and being at the same level as her genius teammates.
BTW: It was never mentioned that Sakura's goal was to become Sasuke's girlfriend.

And to tell you the truth, I don't think Kishimoto would leave that out in such an important, foreshadowing scene for no reason.

You know, I'm a bit tired, so I'm gonna vent;

You see if you've seen my Chapter 332 rant I have no life and I'll admit it. Why? Because it bores me and annoys me. I'm an anarchist (a REAL one) and guess what? I'm so tired. I was bullied when I was little and I had no friends so I relied on my childish imagination and books to keep myself entertained. As a kid it was very frustrating to read and watch things about friendship and the like and go to school where people would constantly bully you. I have no shame, and I'll say that yes, in fact I'm a genius and that's why I'm an anarchist. I look at life and its just people living like I predict them to exactly but what annoys me is when they prance around believing themselves to be some sort of image of a benevolent god and sprout lies about caring when noone, including themselves do even if they're not aware. I'm annoyed and I'm tired of being so dissapointed with life because of the high expectations I had for it all ruined crumbling to the floor - double blow. Since I was never acknowledged I'd think I would try twice as hard as normal people did but I look at life and its the same old thing every day. A genius stuck in an office chair will either die or go insane you know? My past self wanted acknowledgement and revenge to get into life and prove (and therefore take revenge on) to those fucktards in my past that guess what? I'm better than them and they better be on their knees asking for forgiveness. But no, I hear the news and go to school and I'm discouraged, apparently people have proven unworthy of even that because they're too stupid to get a clue when its right in front of them, too obsessed with themselves, pretending to be some semi-god, to notice what the fuck they're doing wrong and to notice the severity of the situation, noo, even when they'll realize it - much after its too late - they'll blame it on an imaginary god and it makes me want to go headdeskzorz. I hate this imaginary idea of good and evil when its all a lie, I hate this imaginary idea of right and wrong because that too is a lie - at least in the context its been put, I hate this idioticy of idealism yet, at the same time, I'm falling in the same trap and that's what pisses me most of all.
Yes, its true. Pity me in that way, I'm so annoyed at life and its situation - MY situation that the only thing I could look forward to are imaginary works, manga, anime books, etc. I don't have a life, and the reason I fell in love with NARUTO was because of, well Naruto, he had gone through a situation like I did but fought hard to get out of it and that inspired me and it was the same case for the jinchuuriki. Kishimoto did a good job at keeping it unpredictable and that kept me there entertained. Before, I was also a good fan of Sonic the Hedgehog but it had wavered a lot since there was no new games to play and therefore couldn't keep up with NARUTO's weekly chapter. However I expected it to catch up with the Next-gen game for the new console and I would be happy once more.
That was not to be, a few weeks ago I had gotten into an arguement with my sister and I became fully aware of my situation. I was crying hopeless and depressed and I was pretty much sick and tired I had slowly begun recovering when BAM! Yugito, the Nekomata jinchuuriki I had been hoping to rise up and kick some Akatsuki ass died right when I had finished a pic of her, I had such high hopes for Yugito knowing that Kishimoto had neglected kunoichi in Part1 and seeing how he now knew he had a decent amount of female fandom, along with hinting about a kunoichi from Cloud, I thought that finally, he could make up for it but Kishimoto did something I didn't like , he became a predictable generic shonen manga-ka and killed a kunoichi with so much potential off for pretty much no reason. I was devastated, a female jinchuuriki? In a way, I am a female jinchuuriki myself (that would need a lot of explaining but I won't bother) and if I hadn't felt let down from him just killing Yugito off, I had felt devastated for killing ME off. Yugito had so much potential and her character design had so much detail one could argue she had the prettiest and most well thought out design in all NARUTO. Why did Kishimoto put so much hintings that Yugito would be important, more so that Hidan and Kakuzu and then just kill her off as if she were nothing? I was let down by something I would normally see as predictable and I literally cried. I wish that was it too, but later on that week I found out that Next-gen would pretty much put canon couples - ones I had argued so much against - in it. I was taken so much by surprise since nobody expected anything more canon than a crush in the Sonic games and therefore I was let down once again. Total backstab. It annoys me how much my happiness depends on fiction and I wish there was some other way but there isn't; I don't see anything worth looking forward to in real life but what? Work, produce, climb and lie; I don't see anything there and it depresses me and what depresses me more is that I can't run away from fiction as the only thing that really ever made me happy at the moment but in a way, its failed me too. I'm sick of tired of life, I'm sick and tired of being let down by fiction but most of all I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired.

Okay, I am VERY pissed about Yugito's death for numerous reasons and I'm going to vent; and when Reya vents you do not want to be within a mile radius from her. Oh joi.

I am THROUGHLY PISSED on how the storyline of NARUTO is going. You'd think with what happened to Gaara and all that crying shit Naruto would realize that hey, fellow jinchuuriki are in danger, people are in danger (Asuma anyone?) because of the Akatsuki and he'd get his arse moving and saving people like the hero of a shonen manga instead of just wangsting and going to funerals when its too late. There's already been two funerals since the timeskip. TWO.

I am THROUGHLY PISSED at Kishimoto because of raising m false hopes by saying how he was going to introduce a kunoichi from Cloud beforehand with no mention of the Akatsuki, telling us Yugito's name, dedicate two fecking pages to Yugito's Nekomata form, take several long chapters to finally kill her off and not before showing her unconscious form as if she was an important character! I'm annoyed and pissed how Kishimoto could have used her huge potential to make up for him neglecting kunoichi in the past (Tenten and Sakura anyone?) to show that he's open to female fans but decided to be a sexist at the last minute by having her be defeated so easily even though she had her own surname of Nii. Which ninjas have surnames? The strong high jounin do. WTF? There's something wrong here because this doesn't make any sense.

I'm THROUGHLY PISSED at the fandom by telling me (true) rumors about Yugito beforehand and anticipating her arrival as much as I did only to shrug it off at the last fucking minute because they're too busy drooling over the Akatsuki to care. I'm irritated at the fandom for praising the villainous (and to me, 2dimensional) Akatsuki to no tomorrow just because they're "badass bishies" or some crap like that. I'm overally and throughly taken aback by the female fandom for not giving Yugito - a kunoichi AND a jinchuuriki almost any attention even though they should be the ones throwing a fit in Kishimoto's mail inbox for not only wasting a jinchuuriki character - and only 3 have appeared so far - but also a kunoichi that was supposed to be strong just so straight off like that. Thank you for making women so two-dimensional and useless, Kishimoto-san.

But most of all, I am THROUGHLY PISSED at myself for not having much of a life. I'm irritated at how I was so lonely when I was little I had no friends so I played with my imagination and read books. I grew up expecting life to be full of wonders and adventures because of this and was throughly dissapointed seeing only dull, boring and tediously predictable facts. I feel like an old lady at 16 and the only thins I feel I have left to anticipate are fictional and virtual characters and stories. I saw my life in the lonely stories of NARUTO's jinchuuriki and one dying, even if they appeared so briefly was a kick to me in the ground from sickness and depression that had already been tormenting for two weeks. A jinchuuriki's death seems like my failure and the blow is only stronger because that jinchuuriki was female. I feel so let down by one of my few sources of joy I have left.

The anti-Akatsuki squad better be bringing back 2 heads, one for Asuma and one for Yugito. And Naruto better not take her name and death in vain or I will... I don't know what I will do.

Okay, well, after everyone asking how is it that I hate teamate pairings, seeing the SasuSakuers and the NaruSakuers scream at eachother, throwing rocks at Gaara fangirltards, debating with people, analyzing the NARUTO storyline and generally stating my anti-NaruSaku and anti-SasuSaku views I've decided to bring up my own rant. =3

-General-
The thing is I really dislike teammate pairings, why? Because of the seesaw effect, what is the seesaw effect? Let me explain it to you in a story
Team #99 is consisted of Boy #1, Boy #2 and Girl. They were walking in a playground when Boy #2 spotted a seesaw and wanted to get on it so Boy1 and Boy2 get on two ends of the seesaw. The boys ask Girl to come over too because she's part of the team. Because Girl is friends with both of the team, she decides to sit in the middle:

What is the result? Not much, the seesaw is perfectly balanced and they're all happy.

Now, Team #99 is all happy playing on their perfectly balanced seesaw when suddenly Girl decides she has a crush on Boy1. After all, he's cool, he's handsome, way more attractive than Boy2 who can get really annoying. She's going to want to get closer to Boy1 on the seesaw.

What happens? The seesaw became unbalanced, and poor Boy2 was left all alone.
Now substitute Team #99 with either Team7, Team Gai or Team Kurenai and you will catch my drift and what I'm saying.

I came to realize this effect back a while ago when I was first starting to get into NARUTO but already had all my OTPs listed. One in particular was InoCho, it was hinted at so much (not bluntly though), that I really came to love that pairing, of course, me being an opposites-attract fanatic also was a factor. However, when I got into the internet and I thought I was well enough into the series to do so so I wouldn't have to worry about spoilers, I realized that ShikaIno was really popular. Why? It really puzzled me. By this time I knew that ShikaTema was one of the best hinted pairings in the series and InoCho wasn't far behind. I later came to realize that it was mostly because Chouji isn't skinny, and the more I dwelved into it I realized this seesaw pattern and why ShikaIno is just not fair, and not just because its a teammate pairing.
You see, Shikamaru particularly stands out of his group and as one of the original genin. He's a genius, he was the only one to become a Chuunin in the fake exams and he went to attack the Akatsuki without the aid of Chouji and Ino. In conclusion, the current situation of Team Asuma looks like this:

Okay, look what happens if ShikaIno became canon:

Poor Chouji is completely thrown off the seesaw! In turn, if InoCho happened, there would be some balance added to the team.

The more I dwelved in this, the more I hated teammate pairings. Yes, I'll mention it again, but this time it applies to me: "Intolerance is the result of looking at oneself in the mirror". I hate most teammate pairings because of the only teammate pairing I like. I know it, but I have explained why with logic.

When I rant about SasuSaku and NaruSaku, keep the seesaw effect in mind.

Is this all? No. I'm pretty sure Kishimoto represented each character's immaturity in their childhood crushes: Lee's for Sakura, Ino's for Sasuke, etc. When they lose the crushes, they lose their immaturity from Part1.

-against SasuSaku-
You see, Sakura's immaturity was especially shown on her relationship with Sasuke and Naruto. How the heck is she supposed to mature from that stage of insulting Naruto and favoring Sasuke if she's going to end up with Sasuke? She can't, it just doesn't make sense.

SasuSaku fan: Can't she mature while liking Sasuke at the same time?
Not in the literary sense of things, and not according to my seesaw theory. Its not good symbolism. Sakura's character development really does revolve around getting over Sasuke. Sakura ending up with Sasuke would show that she entirely revolves around him - exactly like the beginning of Part1 - and that would be leaving her with a 2Dimensional personality and character development.

SasuSaku fan: How do you know that Sakura has no feelings for Sasuke anymore?
Several things. For one, she accepted going out on a date with Naruto. Last time I checked, friends hung out, not dated. If she still liked Sasuke in a romantic way, she would have not accepted going out on a date with Naruto. That's not all, there's also the scene where Sakura cut her hair. Remember why she grew it out? For Sasuke. And what? She cut it. In a way, she is cutting away her feelings for Sasuke. Sasuke kept Sakura immature.

Sasuke didn't keep Sakura immature! Her feelings for him made her stronger!
Stronger possibly, but not mature. Let's look at the bit after Naruto's battle with Gaara.

Sakura to Sasuke (not exact quote): "Don't be modest! You're the one who saved me, Naruto couldn't have done that.

^That is NOT a mature statement. Even after cutting her hair, with Sasuke in the way Sakura is unable to mature. She's degrading Naruto in favor of Sasuke.
Proof? Sakura's character development did not start until after Sasuke left.

Oh, and by the way, only the exact same could be mentioned for Lee's feelings for Sakura. Sakura also made Lee stronger and all. Is LeeSaku considered canon or mainstream? No. And just to stick this in here, Kishimoto mentioned that both Lee and Sakura represented human weakness in Part1.

SasuSaku fan: Kishimoto said that Sakura's feelings for Sasuke were genuine unlike Ino's!
For one, never trust translators, especially when it comes to such a general word like 'love'. Why? Because its easy to argue that Sakura's "genuine" feelings for Sasuke was just caring for a teammate and having a crush at the same time. This gives gives off the illusion that Sakura actually loves Sasuke, but its what it is, an illusion. Genuine devotion, yes, genuine romantic love, no.

SasuSaku fan: What about that scene in the forest when Sakura calmed Sasuke's rage? (Its also where we get the idea that she's going to be his savior)
Its been hinted at over and over again that Sasuke's savior will be Naruto, and mainly Naruto and I will argue why later.
The thing is, Naruto was unconscious, Lee was unconscious. No one else could have done it, in fact, they ALL had to be unconscious for Sakura to have that important hair-cutting scene I mentioned before.
Besides, the scene happened before Sasuke chose to go with Orochimaru, and I'll get back to that later.

But Sakura told Sasuke that she loved him! Plus that she would give up everything to be with him!
I think that proves only even more that that crush is immature because ALL of us are willing to do the same for our first love/crush, I know I did. How many do we actually end up with him? Very, very few, why? Because we mature. In fact, if Sakura was mature by then, she wouldn't have fallen for Sasuke to begin with. If you read 'A Hero of Our Time' you'll understand what I'm talking about.
And no, I'm not comparing two works of two different artists, I'm using it as an example.

SasuSaku fan: (The above) was a SasuSaku moment!
No it wasn't. A team7 moment? Yes. A one-sided SasuSaku moment? Yes. A SasuSaku moment? No. If Sakura would have stopped Sasuke, then it would, but she wasn't able to. And even so, when Sakura tried to reason with Sasuke, she used the team as a whole, and I already said that because of the seesaw effect, pairing two teammates together is not good teamwork. Don't try to tell me that it was because Naruto wasn't there. In fact, the reason why Naruto wasn't there was so that there would be more emphasis in the battle between Sasuke and Naruto. Also, Sasuke hesititating. Sasuke only did so to the words 'I love you', hell, it could have been anyone, but because of his loneliness he really reacted to that. Even so, if Sakura saying that did have meaning to him, they simply weren't enough.
Sasuke left. End of story.

Naruto's reaction was exactly the same. However, the reason why Sai was shocked from Sakura's reaction was because she used the same 'smile to conceal intentions' tactic he uses, and that surprised him.

SasuSaku fan: And how about when Sakura saw Sasuke again? She was very shocked.
The last time she had seen Sasuke was when she declared her supposed feelings for him, and now she saw Sasuke attempting to kill Naruto behind Orochimaru. Anybody would have been shocked if only out of fear. Besides, even if you look for deeper meaning, it could only too easily mean that she gave up on him at that moment. We really don't know.

SasuSaku fan: Sakura spent all her time obsessing over Sasuke to only give it up later/End up with someone else?
Yes actually, its called maturing and character development.
Hell, NARUTO is all about friendship between the three teammates. Kishimoto isn't going to throw that away in exchange for romance. This isn't a shojo manga.

SasuSaku fan: The three saying their goals at the beginning could be seen as foreshadowing. Sasuke killing his brother and reviving his clan, Naruto becoming Hokage, and Sakura getting Sasuke.

Close, but no cigar. Sasuke and Naruto mentioned their goals, but Sakura only said her favorite thing was Sasuke and that she hated Naruto. She never mentioned it was her goal to be with Sasuke. Besides, I think it was mentioned later that Sakura's goal was to become a strong kunoichi, not end up with Sasuke.

SasuSaku fan: Its possible that Sasuke did have feelings for Sakura
No, its not. Why? Well, because the so called love triangle that was shown to us when Sakura and Sasuke were introduced. Naruto having strong feelings for Sakura would be one side. Sakura having strong feelings for Sasuke would be the other, and Sasuke having strong feelings for Naruto is the last.

^That is a love triangle.
I am not necessarily argueing that Sasuke had romantic interest in Naruto, but that he had stronger feelings for Naruto than Sakura. Naruto degraded Sasuke and favored Sakura. Sakura degraded Naruto and favored Sasuke. Sasuke degraded Sakura and favored Naruto.
Proof:
Sasuke: "Don't you envy him being alone, not having parents nag at you all the time... You make me sick!"
Sasuke: "You're just as bad as Naruto. Why waste your time flirting when you should be practicing? Even his skills are better than yours!

Obviously, Sasuke reacted to Sakura the same way Sakura reacted to Naruto.

Also:
Neji to Naruto (not exact quote): You have better eyes than mine. Only you can save Sasuke from darkness now."

Naruto, not Sakura. That means that Naruto has stronger power over Sasuke than Sakura does.

I'm not saying Sasuke has romantic feelings for Naruto, but I do believe that his feelings, friendship and brotherly, are much more stronger for Naruto than for Sakura.

I would agree. But remember my statement about how crushes wore off in Part 2? Lee's crush wore off, Ino's crush wore off, Sakura's crush wore off, Hinata's crush did not wear off. If Kishimoto would want to put NaruSaku instead, he would have taken Hinata's crush away instead of complicating things. He didn't. Maybe he has planned doing something with them? Its sure been hinted at.

No, he doesn't. I won't argue on Sakura loving Naruto, but if that's the case, then its not requited. Naruto knew and accepted that Sakura did not like him back in Part1 right before the the Sasuke Retrieval ARK:

Naruto: Sakura-chan likes Sasuke very much!
Naruto: Sakura-chan, you really like Sasuke huh? -smile-

Remember when Sasuke was hospitalized and when he woke up Sakura jumped to embrace him leaving Naruto pensive? I'm pretty sure that it was more or less that moment when Naruto gave up his feelings on Sakura before the time jump which is what? 2 or 3 years? That's a long time. I'm pretty sure he'd give up his feelings by then.

Sometimes part of learning is accepting that you lost and moving on. Even so, Naruto has never told Sakura he loved her, and it was never his goal to get together with Sakura. Naruto's goal is to be acknowledged, to become Hokage and to bring Sasuke back. Besides, why would he need to work to be acknowledged by Sakura when he is already acknowledged by Hinata? Let's look at Hinata's theme: "Believe in yourself." How would that theme fit if Naruto ends up never acknowledging Hinata and rejects her for Sakura, someone who rejected him throughout most of Part1? That's not fair.
Oh, and not to forget, Naruto's nindo is "never take back my words", not giving up. He has never mentioned he would get Sakura to love him in Part1, so I don't see what the problem is.

NaruSaku fan: Naruto loves Sakura!
No, and he never did romantically. Why did Naruto like Sakura to begin with? Because she was like him, looking for acknolwedgement (which is the same for Hinata). That's really it.

NaruSaku fan: NaruSaku is canon!
Have they told eachother they love eachother? No. Have they kissed? No. I know it is a shonen manga but there are always something that will indicate a pairing is canon. Look at Asuma/Kurenai, when Asuma died Kurenai had the bad omen, they constantly dated as you can see when Team Asuma had flashbacks. Asuma/Kurenai was canon. NaruSaku is not, if it were I wouldn't be argueing this.

NaruSaku fan: What about Yamato's statement? 'Sakura in reality, you...' -297
You guys jumped to fast to conclusions. Yamato for one did not finish the statement and Sakura did not answer it. Hell, he could have meant "In reality you love someone else" or something. We really don't know.
Oh, and talking about that statement, guess who was on the cover of that chapter? HINATA. No, it wasn't a coincidence.

Not necessarily. Sakura already acknowledges Naruto, she already knows about Kyuubi, she knows him probably better than most people. If the above is the case, then why hasn't NaruSaku happened yet? They already know eachother well, you'd think they'd be canon by now but they're not. Makes you think, doesn't it?

NaruSaku fan: What about the date?
I'm no hypocrite. I think Kishimoto put the date as his own way of showing us that Sakura forgot her feelings for Sasuke without having to put actual important romance in it and adding to us that ShikaTema hint. Hell, Naruto hadn't even said the word 'date' yet so I don't think it counts in this category. Naruto only teases Sakura, trying to cheer themselves up and doing it for 'old time's sake'. As I mentioned before, Naruto no longer has a crush on Sakura. Oh, and by the way, according to what's translated, Kishimoto mentioned that the date was not romance. No, I am not a hypocrite, love is a general word, romance is not.

NaruSaku fan: The NaruHina in the anime were only fillers!
True. But why did the animators necessarily put NaruHina in the fillers? Why'd they do that if they knew it could end some other way ending up with loads of dissapointed fans on their asses? Its absolutely normal for manga authors to tell animators how they're going to end the manga or at least what they have planned. I don't think the animators are stupid enough to put NaruHina in if they knew NaruSaku would or could happen. Actually, NaruHina wasn't the only pairing hinted at in the anime... (I'll poke at this later)

NaruSaku fan: Hinata can be strong without Naruto! Wouldn't that show her character development like you said with the crushes?
If anyone were to ask me this, I'd applaud them for being a good debater, but it won't work on me. Hinata's source for inspiration? Naruto, Hinata's reason to grow? Naruto. Unlike Sakura's crush for Sasuke keeping her immature, Hinata's crush for Naruto did the opposite, made her mature, made her stronger. Yes, Hinata can become acknowledged by her clan and become strong, but it wouldn't resolve her feelings for Naruto. I already proved how Sakura's feelings for Sasuke had resolved, how Naruto's feelings for Sakura had resolved, but Hinata's - maybe being a minor character - feelings have yet to be resolved. Hell, its even be foreshadowed that Hinata will eventually confess her feelings for Naruto, let's look at the second databook:

Databook: "Hinata, always feeling the same towards Naruto. Will the day come when she can face him directly?"
Oh, and let's look at this picture Kishimoto himself drew, its not fanart. This being the rough draft of the cover of the so on the familiar chapter of 297:

This also came with the words “Guided by a golden light, now she's walking out in the sun!”. This golden light is only too obviously Naruto.

Oh, and just to stick it in here, Hinata was the one that saw Naruto leave Konoha, not Sakura.

More on anti-NaruSaku:
- There's no reason for Naruto and Sakura to be lovers as they're perfectly fine as friends. Sakura already has a good portion of the spotlight, especially in a shonen manga. However, everytime Hinata gets the spotlight it has something to do with Naruto. NaruHina not happening would be severely neglecting Hinata and her theme.
- The Seesaw effect.
- If Kishimoto wanted NaruSaku he would have made Hinata's feelings fade, but he didn't.
- If Kishimoto wanted NaruSaku, he would have probably made it canon by now, they're all alone without Sasuke, so why hasn't it happened?
-The NARUTO manga is all about friendship. Kishimoto is not going to throw that away to pave way for a romantic relationship between Team7 and/or Sai. He's going to want to either leave them single or pair them up outside of the team. More reference to the seesaw effect.
- Naruto already gave up on Sakura at the end of Part1. It would be pointless to bring back his feelings; it wouldn't help the plot, and it certainly wouldn't help his character development.
-Sakura knows about Hinata's feelings for Naruto, it wouldn't be very nice on her part to still chase after him.
-Continuing from the last point, both Kiba and Shino know very well of Hinata's feelings for Naruto and support her. If NaruHina didn't happen, it would not only bring down Hinata, but also all of Team 8/Kurenai. Hell, it seems like all of Team 8's purpose revolves around Hinata's feelings for Naruto.

-For GaaSaku-

True, but pairing her up with Gaara would make the exact same effect if not even better. Let's see what seems to be the summary of Sakura's immaturity in Part1:

Sakura: "Can't we get away from Naruto for just one second?! He always comes between us!(More proof for the love triangle idea)Its because he was badly brought up! You know... Because he never had any parents? He doesn't have to answer to anyone, ever, and its made him completely selfish!!! If I did the kinds of things he gets away with, my parents would ground me for life!"

In reality, pairing Sakura up with anyone that was lonely during their childhood would show she has matured, it doesn't necessarily have to be Naruto. Who are the three main guys her age that were lonely during their childhood? Sasuke, Naruto and Gaara. And if Kishimoto realizes - or already knew about as he's the author here - the seesaw effect, then he'll realize that Gaara is the best option for Sakura at that point.

Bonus points: Gaara also happens to be the Kazekage. Being the spouse of a kage would show her power, along with being a link between villages which you could say would very well elevate her status as a kunoichi. In summary, GaaSaku happening would give the equal symbolism of Sakura maturing in respect to NaruSaku with the bonus points of making her appear very powerful which is pretty much Sakura's goal.

When has that stopped a pairing from happening? If anything I know that manga-ka love opposite-attract couples, and I should know, I have over 300 volumes of different manga stored in a bookshelf beside me right now. ;)
I agree that pre-timeskip GaaSaku would have never happend. But after? For one Gaara is no crazed psychopath anymore and Sakura has become more like Naruto. And we all know that Gaara is fond of Naruto... Not that way of course. -chases BL fangirls away-

Oh, and just adding to the first point, Gaara resembles both Naruto and Sasuke very well and knowing how much Sakura loves her teammates it would only be natural for her to feel attracted to Gaara. This way Sakura can love her teammates both a lot and equally without having the seesaw effect put into motion.

Its Kishimoto's manga, not the fans. Its not like he's going to change the direction of the story because of some whiney teenage girls. I'm pretty sure a guy has to write a story before he starts drawing it. Kishimoto didn't even intend to get female fans to begin with, NARUTO is a shonen manga. Besides, let's look at the VegetaBulma pairing in DBZ; DBZ had overwhelming popularity back then and also had a good share of female fans and then VegetaBulma became canon out of nowhere. I'm pretty sure a lot of people were against it but nothing really happened.

In reality, people would riot for 5 days and spam forums but that's it. The manga would continue.

Oh, and speaking of Dragonball Z and VegetaBulma, GaaraSaku only parallels that pairing enormously well as a maingirl/antihero pairing (Gaara makes a better Vegeta than Sasuke ever did) and Kishimoto himself only is an enormously large fan of that anime, claiming to be incredibly obsessed with it when he was younger and often reading it over for inspiration.
NarutoHinata also parallels GokuChichi well too - and we all know that that pairing is quite an obvious one.

True, but it doesn't really matter and yes, they have had little interaction; but what has happened when Sakura and the sand siblings do interact?

Gaara's introduction: When Kankuro and Temari entered Kankuro was busy picking on Konohamaru. Sakura stood up to them even if she knew they were possibly dangerous. You'd think it would be Naruto to do something like that - which he did, but not with the same impact. Gaara appears later telling Kankuro off and in a way - unconsciously - helping Konohamaru, Naruto and Sakura out of the mess. Sasuke would have helped, but you can't deny the fact that it was still Gaara that changed it. xD

The creeping up: I'm the first GaaSaku-er to argue this point, yay for me!
You see, why was Sakura at the hospital to begin with? To visit Lee. You see, Sakura wasn't supposed to like Lee at all at the beginning but he protected her (though he kind of failed at it) and then Sakura matured and realized that he was a nice guy. By going to the hospital to visit Lee she was doing something mature, and then suddenly Gaara is randomly stuck there. You see, Gaara was jelous of Lee. No, I'm not going to be delusional and say Gaara has feelings for Sakura (yet. xD -shot-), but that doesn't change the fact that he was jelous of Lee and the attention he was getting as someone with loved ones. Foreshadow? Its possible.

The confrontation: Every GaaSakuer will always mention this part because its quite a key moment for both Gaara and Sakura. Sakura was really serious at this part and willing to die - something ninjas are trained to do. Sakura made Gaara hesitate and reminded him of a love he never had (I'll come back to that later). Yes, it was Naruto who healed Gaara's heart, but who sparked that? Sakura did, and it was Sakura's peril that really got Naruto serious. Throw at me all you want, but it does not change the fact that Sakura was a key factor in changing Gaara for the better.
Oh, and by the way, what happened as soon as Gaara left? Sakura started degrading Naruto for Sasuke which spiraled into Sasuke leaving for Orochimaru.

Kankuro: I'd never forget the timeskip of course. Let's see what happened ; Sakura healed Kankuro using a S class jutsu - S class, that's Hokage level to you - and therefore saving his life. If this doesn't show that Sakura is all grown up I don't know what does. Gaara still owes Sakura a thank you for that.

Sasori: I don't care if she was a puppet for half of the fight, Sakura still helped defeat an Akatsuki member, and just to remind you, the Akatsuki are S-class missing nin. Sakura really kicked ass in this fight and killed Sasori - for what? To rescue Gaara. And guess what? Sasori was also from Suna. Coincidence? Maybe, maybe Sakura has a link with Suna and her maturity.

Throw whatever you want at me, it still doesn't change the fact that Sakura + Sand sibs = strong Sakura.

Oh, and just to add, NaruHina wasn't the only couple hinted at in the fillers, so was InoCho and (possibly) NejiTen. However, Sakura wasn't hinted at at being paired up with anybody, maybe whoever she ends up with is outside the village at the moment? ;)

How would it not help Gaara? The more love Gaara can get the better because he's one of the lonely characters. For one, being paired up with one of the main characters of Team7 elevates him in the storyline. Hell, being paired up just simply shows us that Gaara is no longer the monster that he was, that he is more human, and who better to show it than Naruto's teammate (since BL isn't happening anytime soon)? With Sakura by his side, Gaara would always be carrying a piece of Naruto with him showing how much he was an impact in his life. After all, Naruto is the main character, he's supposed to do that. Not to forget how Sakura reminded Gaara of Yashamaru - a guy who Gaara cared about but didn't love him - if GaaSaku happened, one could say that he gained the love he never had during his childhood, that he really has healed.

The Sannin paradox: SasuSaku nor NaruSaku will ever happen because it would totally ruin the snake-toad-slug balance (based off a japanese version of rock, paper and scissors game) that Kishimoto stresses many times between Team 7 and the Sannin. If you remember correctly, Tsunade had a brother and a lover that both wanted to become Hokage but died and therefore failed. It would make total sense as Sannin foreshadowing has happened many, many times that these 3 would not fail unlike the last three Sasuke will not fully become evil, Naruto will rescue/stop Sasuke and Sakura will not lose her brother and lover. Knowing how Naruto and Sasuke call eachothers brothers it would make sense that Sakura would also consider them her brothers. She would have one brother that would become Hokage (Naruto) and also a lover that becomes kage too (Gaara).

In conclusion; No, I do not believe GaaSaku is canon and it certainly isn't mainstream because that would be stupid. However, I do believe it does have a decent chance at happening following the storyline. Both Gaara and Sakura would really complete eachother in the spots that they don't have and it would certainly make sense if it became canon, definately more than SasuSaku and NaruSaku, and unlike them, GaaSaku is harder to contradict because there really hasn't been anything to go against it.
